We are looking for a front-end developer (m/f/d) to join us for an internship of at least 6 months duration, and support us with implementing new features on our custom WordPress theme. This position can be fully remote or based in Berlin; freelance is possible. The website is based on WooCommerce and built with Timber. Working together with other developers and in close collaboration with management, you will plan, develop, and implement features independently and responsibly.

You should have:
— Robust programming and web developing experiences in front-end environments, ideally with ecommerce sites on enterprise level
— Experience in using version control systems (GIT)
— Experience with PHP and the WordPress ecosystem (hooks, filters)
— Knowledge of Timber to write custom theme files
— Expertise in modern CSS and SASS
— Expertise in advanced JavaScript (experience with GSAP is a plus)
— Have strong attention to detail and high level of diligence in communication and code documentation
